MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Reflexology

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a therapeutic technique that focuses on releasing tightness and restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs. The idea is that when fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can cause pain, discomfort, and limited movement.

During MFR, a therapist applies gentle, sustained pressure to the affected areas to stretch and release the fascia. This helps to improve blood flow, reduce pain, and restore range of motion. It's often used for chronic pain conditions like back pain, fibromyalgia, or headaches, as well as to improve overall mobility.

It's a slow, hands-on method that targets deep layers of tissue and can be very effective for long-term muscle tension or injury recovery.
