Craniosacral Fascial Therapy
A drug-free treatment style with great, quick results.
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CST) Gillespie Approach is a specialized, hands-on therapy that combines elements of craniosacral therapy (CST) and fascial therapy to treat a wide range of physical and emotional issues. Developed by Dr. Barry Gillespie, this approach focuses on the connection between the craniosacral system (the brain, spinal cord, and the fluid that surrounds them) and the fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, organs, and other structures in the body).
The Gillespie Approach
The key principle of the Gillespie Approach is that the craniosacral system and the fascial system are deeply interconnected. Restrictions or tension in one system can affect the other, leading to a variety of health problems such as headaches, chronic pain, tension, or emotional stress.
The therapy involves very gentle, non-invasive touch to assess and release restrictions in both the craniosacral and fascial systems. By doing so, it aims to restore balance, improve the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, and promote overall healing and relaxation. This technique is often used to address conditions like:
Migraines or headaches
TMJ (jaw pain)
Back and neck pain
Stress and anxiety
Traumatic injury recovery
The Gillespie approach is especially known for being extremely gentle, making it suitable for people of all ages, including infants and the elderly. Its holistic, body-wide focus aims to create long-lasting changes in both the physical and emotional aspects of health.

INfared Lamp
An infrared (IR) lamp, or infrared heat lamp, is typically used for therapeutic purposes to help relieve pain and promote healing. The infrared light it emits penetrates the skin and tissues, providing heat that can increase blood flow, relax muscles, and reduce inflammation. Here are some common uses for IR lamps:
1. Pain Relief: The heat can soothe sore muscles, joint pain, and stiffness, making it helpful for conditions like arthritis, muscle strains, or back pain.
2. Improved Circulation: The warmth from the infrared light dilates blood vessels, which improves blood flow to the treated area, helping to accelerate healing and promote tissue repair.
3. Relaxation: The soothing heat can help with stress reduction and muscle tension, promoting a sense of relaxation.
4. Skin Healing: It can aid in healing minor skin wounds, cuts, or bruises by improving blood flow to the affected area and promoting cellular regeneration.
5. Reducing Inflammation: The increased blood flow helps to reduce swelling and inflammation in injured or strained areas.
Some people use infrared lamps for conditions like chronic pain, fibromyalgia, or even to alleviate symptoms of conditions like sinus congestion or colds.
